Antitarnish

Antitarnish has been developed to protect copper and copper alloys as well as copper coatings against corrosion. By a simple efficient immersion process a colourless, thin and adherent protective coating is achieved that provides protection against oxidation of the materials surface. Once treated the material may be stored for several months without problems. Antitarnish is an aqueous, environmentally sustainable solution without the additions of chromates and solvents. Components once treated with Antitarnish can be processed further (electrochemically) after the protective coating is removed by acid dipping.
